Vacuum tube type monaural power amplifier with large triode 212E. Plate voltage 1,400V, output 40W. No-feedback technology creates a three-dimensional and spontaneous sound.
The 212E is a transmitter and modulation tube with a plate loss of 275W, developed by Western Electric in the 1910s. Class-A single tube amplifier has difficulty driving a low efficiency speaker, but this unit has a plate voltage of 1,400V and an output of 40W. The damping factor of 5 or more is achieved by reducing the output power, so it can drive the low frequency range reliably.
*Two models are available: STC’s 4212E (1960-70s production) and Jinzhou Electronics’s 212E.
It is equipped with the ultra-reliable C3g, developed by Deutsche Telekom for telephone repeaters. The thin grid lines and large distance between electrodes enable high linearity amplification. By using only two tubes of amplification with the 212E, harmonics and mixed-modulation distortions are suppressed though no-feedback.
The input transformer makes up for the lack of gain in the two-stage amplification. It is received by a high linearity transformer with a high permeability super permalloy core and does not add anything extra.
* The input impedance is 1.5kΩ, and should be driven by equipment with an output impedance of 300Ω or less.
The rectifiers and contacts used in general power supplies are a source of noise, and the quality of the power supply is also the quality of sound. An after-analog regulator is installed at the rear of the unit to completely clear the noise level. The use of a switching regulator has made it possible to stabilize a high voltage of 1,400 V and to reduce the weight of the unit by 24.5 kg.

Why are there different estimated delays prior to sending for some of the products
One of the politics of Ana Mighty Sound is that every order is unique and made for a single customer. You will find next to each item an estimated delay prior to delivery. We will do our best to fulfill it before this delay (and most of the time we do).
Please keep in mind that we are a 100% human company working all over the Old World (Europe) and that we do commit to deliver you the best made / best quality product available, and to insure that : this can take some time.

Can I specify a courrier for my order ?
Yes you can ! Just drop us a line in the « additional remarks » of your mail order. This may add additional fees to your order. We can work with DHL, TNT, FedEX, UPS, French La Poste or Chronopost.
What if I have received the wrong item ?
In the very unlikely case this would happen just send us a photo of what you received and we will send you a courrier to fetch the item back. Once we have checked it out, we will send you the correct item.
My items are not up to specifications, what should I do ?
This is highly improbable as we use the most modern techniques to insure that our products are up to specs. In fact we even have a dedicated person checking that every single item is in perfect condition prior to shipping. Of course it can happen, but we doubt it seriously. In any case if you were bothered by something : just send us an email and we will sort it out with you.
